Downeshead Lane
There is a small tree line lane with a cobbled path which runs from Tolleys in to Commonmarsh Lane. This is Downeshead Lane.
It was near this lane that St Boniface is meant to have been born.

Built in the 1500's it appears that these 4 houses were once just one, but have been altered several times in the past.

27 Downeshead Lane
Number 27 is made up of a barn, which dates from the 1600's, and a house dating from around 1730.
